Tahoe Forest Restoration

Young adults in the California Conservation Corps are helping forests in the Tahoe Basin heal from the ground up. Corpsmembers planted sugar pine seedlings in partnership with experts from UC Davis. The multi-year project not only restores fire-damaged landscapes but also gives participants valuable career training.
