In the wake of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, harmful pollutants from burned vehicles and homes posed a serious risk to the local water supply. As a public information officer, I was dispatched to the emergency where I documented CCC Corpsmembers taking swift action, installing compost socks to safeguard local waterways.
