Controlled Burns

CCC Corpsmembers burn overgrown vegetation before wildfire season starts, making the Chico landscape (and nearby community) more resilient to wildfire. Conducted in partnership with the Big Chico Creek Ecological Preserve, this project is fighting fire with fire, in the best of ways!
