Our built and natural environments are rapidly changing. As a result, we're facing unprecedented challenges and opportunity. By bringing the environment into focus, I aim to promote a more sustainable and just future.

FAQs

Where are you from?

When I was a kid, I bounced around a lot due to my parent's work. Right now I consider myself local to Liberty Lake, Washington and Sacramento, California. My sense of home is constantly changing over time!

What do you do for work?

In 2017, I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. I then began working  for the State of California where I'm currently serving as an information officer with the California Conservation Corps. My dream is to blend my love for science, art, and culture to make an impact.

How did you get started?

My father used to be the photographer in the family. He would make us stand for hours (actually 5 minutes) to get family photos. One day, I convinced him to let me have a go at it. I never gave the camera back!

What do you do for fun?

Aside from photography, I am currently learning acoustic guitar and getting back into improv comedy. I also love to cozy up on the couch with a good book. If anyone's looking for recommendations, I found "Astoria" fascinating!

What gear do you use?

I think great photography is less about the gear and more about the content. With that being said, I do have loads of fun playing with various cameras including my iPhone, Canon70D, Polaroid, and Minolta.
